How to create custom fields in Pipedrive

Your vizrm comes with a full integration to Pipedrive. By “full” we mean:

  • Sync all your contact data seamlessly between the tools

  • Store all the information created in vizrm to Pipedrive

To achieve the perfect integration, you will have to create (in case you don’t have this already) two custom fields in Pipedrive - here is a quick tutorial on how to do that:

Note: for the below steps you will need admin rights in Pipedrive

Setting up a “Job Title” field

On the account chart in vizrm we display the job titles of your contacts together with their profile picture and name. Unfortunately “job title” is not an out-of-the-box field in Pipedrive, so you will have to create it:

1. Navigate to a person page in Pipedrive & select “Customize fields“

2. Select “Add a new field” at the bottom of the list

3. For the job-title it is best to create a text field

 
 
 

Creating a "Manager" field

If you prefer to store as well the the hierarchy you create on the account chart in vizrm in you Pipedrive system, this is best done by creating a field (fro example called “Manager”) for persons that contains the link to their direct manager.

For this you follow the steps 1 & 2 from above but choose a “person” Field type instead of a “Text” field in the third step.

This will allow you to quickly navigate between the persons within Pipedrive via hyperlink!
